Marie Biscuit Chocolate Floaters

The total time to make this immensely easy and delicious dessert was less than the time spent coming up with a suitable name for it. And I'm still not sure if I've done justice to it. Why don't you guys come up with a name for this? Basically, its Marie biscuit sandwiched with chocolate sauce... floating on more chocolate sauce!

I chose Marie biscuits because they are perennially available in my pantry; plus they don't become soggy after soaking in syrup; PLUS they are comparatively healthier! :P If we are going to indulge, we might as well try and lessen the impact of what we're about to eat, heh?
This may be one dessert which anyone should be able to make. It does not involve any fancy ingredient nor any fancy equipments. But you produce an exotic looking dessert within minutes using the same humble ingredients! And the best part is, you have so many options in case you want to skip / substitute any ingredient. Let's make Marie Biscuit Chocolate Floaters.... or whatever this is!!! :P

Marie Biscuit Chocolate Floaters Recipe | Dessert in under 5 minutes
(Print this Recipe)

Prep Time - 5 min
Chill Time - 30 minutes or more
Makes - 1 serving

You'll need
4 or 5 marie biscuits (if you wanna stack up more, use more biscuits)
6-8 tbsp milk (or as needed)
3 tbsp powdered sugar
1 tbsp cocoa powder (I used  more because I wanted a dark choc taste)
2 tbsp chopped cashews (or almonds)
1/2 cup caramel sauce (prepared or store brought) ** Refer Note 1
1. Mix cocoa powder & caster sugar together
2. Add milk spoon by spoon to make a thick sauce. Taste & adjust the sugar.
3. In a serving bowl, spoon some of the chocolate sauce.
4. Add the caramel sauce and some nuts in between.
5. Dip a biscuit into the chocolate sauce and place in the center of the serving bowl.
6. Drip some caramel sauce on it.
7. Repeat with the other 3 or 4 biscuits. (Dip in sauce & place on the previous biscuit. Drip caramel on it.)
8. Finally drizzle as much caramel sauce as you want.
9. Decorate with chopped cashew nuts.
** 1.  Substitutes: I had some left over caramel sauce which I warmed & used. You can get it in the supermarket. Or as I believe, you get butterscotch or caramel chips ready made. You can melt that and use. OR If neither of the 2 options are convenient, you could use whipped cream or nutella or chocolate ganache instead.
2. Usually, store bought biscuits work best for such recipes. Especially, marie or digestive marie.
3. Even chilling it for 20 minutes is enough to solidify the chocolate sauce in between the biscuits.
