ReplyDeleteGreat idea Kavi. Sometimes, I like to enjoy bread that are savory vs sweet. Out here we see too many bread varieties that have too much of sugar based toppings, I will takes yours instead.

ReplyDeleteYou know I've always wondered why are people afraid of using yeast, coz I have never had an issue using it, until I realised therez something called active instant yeast and dry yeast :-) I love blogging for all these reasons!!
I've been a regular visitor of ur blog for a while now and every post of yours amazes me :-)
Do stop by my space when time permits...

super yummm....
ReplyDeleteIn reference to your note # 1 - I read somewhere that you're supposed to do the diagonal cuts ('scoring') so that bread doesn't get cracks or something coz of the pressure.
ReplyDeleteBut may be that applied only to baguette-like breads and not to stuffed bread? I don't know. Just thought of discussing :)
& Btw!! Regarding your comment on the bread loaf post.. What I meant was, I cut the final pieces to eat along the diagonal marks I made. Hence they were too long to manage. But the cuts you make before baking are diagonal in every recipe. I didn't know why. But thanks to you, now I do! :D
Deleteoh hehe, ok. now that i read your sentence again, i got what you meant :)
DeleteDude, I can hardly believe you did this at home. But knowing you, I better start believing, right! :D
ReplyDeleteHaha!! Believe it baby! COz this babe has mastered Yeast! :D
