You'll need -
Long Basmati Rice - 1 cup, almost cooked
Mixed vegetables - 1 cup (carrot, french beans, cabbage, bell peppers, spring or regular onions)
Garlic Cloves - 2, peeled & diced
Bean Sprouts - 1/4 cup
Schezwan Sauce - 1 tablespoon (I used the store-bought kind)
Chilli Sauce - 2 teaspoons (Store bought)
5-spice powder - 1 teaspoon (optional)
Salt - to taste
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Method -
Heat oil & sauté the garlic for a minute
Add vegetables & sauté for a few minutes.
Long enough that they aren't completely raw. But don't overcook
Add salt, Schezwan Sauce & chilli sauce; mix it well.
Since the ready-made schezwan sauce had salt, I just added a little. Adjust according to your need
Add bean sprouts, rice & mix well. Toss for a few seconds until they are well mixed.
Serve hot
